Young and the not so young head to Trangie for a day of fun with their friends and then in the evening enjoy entertainment and meals at one of Trangies 3hotels or 3 clubs.

Trangie Gold Cup 

 Trangie Race Course - 17 May 2008

This is a great escape  for you and  your friends to get together and enjoy a weekend away.

Arrive in Trangie and set up camp by Friday afternoon early, then bring out the chairs and sit back and enjoy a cool drink (BYO) while listening to the free entertainment supplied by "STRUTH".

Then cook a few snags or that big piece of steak (purchased from "Shorts Butchery") on the free BBQ while still enjoying the music and talking to your mates.

Saturday the free courtsey bus supplied by the United Services Memorial Club (USMC) proud sponsors of the Gold Cup will arrive and take you to the TRANGIE  Races  where you will enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the Gold Cup Race committee.

You can purchase all meals and drinks at the course and enjoy them in air conditioned comfort.  Children are well catered for with childrens entertainment.   All race betting facilities available on the day.

After the races the courtsey bus will pick you up return you to the TANDARA for a rest and a freshen up.  In the early evening the bus will return to the park and take you down to the United Services Memorial Club where you and your friends can enjoy a delicious meal and a cool drink before sitting back to dance or listen to the nights entertainment before the bus returns you to the park.
